I'm a wife to a over-the-road, truck driving husband and a mother to two boys (17 & 11 years old). I work as an event coordinator at the Correctional Management Institute of Texas at SHSU. We coordinate events where criminal justice professionals can earn continuing education credits to maintain their licenses or just gain knowledge about trends and practices in their field. I'm also an online adjunct instructor in business for the College of the Mainland. I have a B.A. from the Louisiana Scholars' College at Northwestern State University in Louisiana. I studied Humanities & Social Thought (Liberal Arts) which doesn't scream "job," so I soon returned to school to earn an MBA from SHSU.
